Where two phases from two vibrations are opposite in polarity and cancel each other out or "sum to zero". The vibrations become neutral, depolar or potential, still there but undetectable. The power of the phases has been equated and becomes latent. [See Latent Force and "zero field" in Scalar electromagnetics]
