Rochelle Salt
The Salt of Many Virtues

One of the most interesting things about Rochelle salt is its piezoelectric properties. Basically that means a crystal of the salt generates electricity when it is squeezed.

The story of Rochelle salt starts in the old port city of La Rochelle, France about 1665. It is made form Cream of Tartar (Organic highly acidic substance from wine making) and sodium carbonate, also known as Washing Soda (the base). SAs a side note here, Did you know the chemical symbol for sodium is Na which owes its origin to Natron.

What's also Cool about this salt is that when added to water the water cools down significantly. It's like the opposite of Lye.

Rochelle's salt is also used for the removal of toxic materials in some cases of poisoning. Also this salt is high in potassium so its a great way to get your ormus minerals and Potassium at the same time.
